GoodRec started 3 years ago with a small community in Brooklyn, New York. Since, we have grown into the largest pickup sports app in the United States. With the GoodRec app, finding a one-off pickup game, league, or tournament near you is fast and easy. All you have to do is tap the app, join a game, and show up ready to play!

What you'll do:

You will play a pivotal role in the growth of GoodRec games and revenue. The Business Development team is in charge of all facility (client) relationships. Your responsibilities also include:

  • Game Operations: Booking game times with facilities, scheduling payments, adding games to the app, and making sure every game has the right format and information advertised.

  • Communications: Building relationships with facilities and ensuring excellent client support.

  • Review Management: Analyze game revenue and profit and make strategic decisions in the team on where to expand games.

  • Problem Solving: Investigate and identify potential issues that come up at the games, and communicate effectively with the facility.

  • Enhance Game Experience: Continuously monitor and improve the overall player experience, focusing on match quality and app usability.

Requirements

We're looking for:

  • Flexible schedule: Comfortable working evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology and mobile apps, allowing you to support players with confidence.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adeptly prioritize tasks to meet our players' expectations.

  • Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to providing outstanding customer service.

  • Interpersonal Skills: A confident, friendly demeanor with exceptional communication skills to build positive player relationships.


Experience/Education:

  • Part-Time or Full Time availability, 30-40h/week depending on availability

  • 0-1 years in commercial-related roles such as operations, customer service or sales.

  • Advanced English level: strong verbal and written communication and comprehension skills.

  • Education: Studying or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing (preferred but not limited to), or similar working levels obtained through relevant job experience.


Compensation:

  • USD $500 - $800 / month depending on experience.
